Got this game on release day and I'm now a lvl 70 Commander. Have to say the the multiplayer which in my opinion is where the bulk of my score is. Lately thought there seems to be some rather annoying exploits that players are using. The semtex/javelin glitch and Care package glitch. [PS3 by the way]. I had to report a player the other night to Sony and that's the first time I have ever done something like that. Anyone running around with javelin launcher be aware that if you frag them they will explode which results in both of you dying. Even if you shoot them from a good distance. Patch should be out soon[PC is already patched] and things should be balanced I hope. Also, some weapons like the 1887 shotguns with akimbo are way overpowered combined with chopper gunner.
Spec ops is pretty good especially if you have a friend to play with. Single Player has its wow moments and its worth the ride just to see it through.

[update]Game has been patched up since I wrote my review but something has to be done about these overpowered killstreaks.

Multiplayer lags in this game. You could unload an entire magazine on an enemy and still die because his 1 bullet hits you first even though he should be dead according to your screen. :(
I don't play these types of games for single player, playing by yourself is not exactly what I call fun, I prefer to play against real people. Modern Warfare 1 was so much fun but this one is disappointing.

Also your game is tied to your steam account so you cannot sell back the game.

The sad part of all this is that Activision are so greedy that they wasted so much money trying to block piracy and guess what? Skidrow and Razor1911 already have releases out. In reality Activision gave their loyal fans and customers a raw deal and lacking game experience to achieve nothing.

Just save your money and buy a real game.

PS if you don't believe that the multiplayer lags then just Google it, see for yourself. I used to be a Call of Duty fanboy, well I still am but I feel so cheated by Modern Warfare 2.

On the brighter side of things, the single player campaign is really astonishing and anyone who is a fan of the CoD series will absolutely love it. I am not one to play single player mode more than once, which is why my personal review relies heavily on the multiplayer gameplay experience. I am sure the fanboys will come and downrate my review, that's how fanboyism works. Unlike the flaming fanboys I could still like the CoD series and give an objective review about the things I did not like about this title.
